In recent day cyber fraud has emerged as one of the most alarming crimes in the digital era. With rapid growth of internet usage , online scams ,phisings and data theft have become common threat to individuals and organizations alike. Fraudters use fake websites , emails and message to trick people into revealing personal information such as bank details , passwords and OTPs .
Accordings to reports thousands of people across the country have lost their hard earned money due to cyber fraud. Many cases involve online shopping scams , fake job offer and lottery messages. Even social media plarform are not free from these deceptive activities.
The government and cyber crime units are continuously working to track and punish the culprits . Citizens are being requested to stay alert , avoid sharing sensitive information online and verify the authenticity of any suspicious messages or call. Schools and colleges are also oraganizing awareness programmes to educate young internet users .
Cyber fraud not only cases financial loss but also damages trust in digital platform.
