Newspaper report on Ahmedabad plane crash

Ahamedabad,june 12,2025: A london bound Boeing 787 dreamliner aircraft crashed into medical college hostel. All 242 on board including crew died, only one person survived miraculosly.

The Air India air craft took off at 1.38 am . within one minute the air craft plummed into B.J. Medical college hostel mess five km from the airport. A massive exploison occured as the plane was filled with nearly 125000 litres of petrol. A towering plume of smoke was visible from afar. The pilot issued on “May Day” call after the take off. The Home Minister , The Prime Minister have expressed their condolence towards the family of deceased. It is also reported that the Ex Cheif Minister of Gujrat Mr. Vijay Rupani also lost his life in this tragedy. Preliminary Investigaton has shown that the engine lost its thrust and crashed. The home Minister has confirmed that the investigation of this incident has been started by DGCA.

The Tata group annouced to provide 1 cr to each family of the deceased and also promied to rebuild the hostel mess.
